Why Agent Pixels ?

Agent Pixels gives that company a place: a live pixel-art office where agents can sit at desks, idle in shared rooms, and keep recognizable character profiles as the company grows.

I loved the original idea of Pixel Agents a VScode plugin by Pablo De Lucca. But it's Claude only and tied to VSCode, Whereas I'm using Codex Desktop, Claude, Cursor and Gemini for different use cases. And I'm using Paperclip day to day, so marrying the two together felt natural. The best product is one that exists, so this starts practical and grows from real use. It is agent Agnostic, although tied to Paperclip, which I found after testing other orchestrators to be the best fit for my needs (and the most well developed).

Ship the thing

Agent Pixels started as a minimum viable plugin: get the office working, learn from real users, and improve from there.

Paperclip is more fun

The plugin lives in the open so Paperclip users, AI builders, and game devs can inspect it, fork it, and contribute.

Make agents visible

A company of agents should be understandable at a glance, with recognizable characters, rooms, and working states.
